a note about our bread

Our bread is fresh out of our oven when we make a sale. We recommend you allow it to cool for a few hours after purchase.

You’re of course welcome to break into it immediately upon leaving — but if you slice into a loaf and notice residue on your knife + a very moist interior, that is normal! This is due to the bread’s very high hydration.

Keep the cut side of the loaf face-down on a cutting board for the first 48 hours after purchase to maintain its crunchy exterior. We recommend toasting after the first 48 hours.
